As far as their design, performance, and game libraries are concerned, the One S and the All-Digital are practically the same consoles. The main difference between them is that the All-Digital model doesn't have a disc drive, so it can't play games or movies from physical discs.

Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition on April 16, 2019, which included three digital games, Forza Horizon 3, Sea of Thieves, and Minecraft. The console does not have a physical disc drive, and all games must be downloaded.

However, coinciding with the Xbox Series X/S launch later that year, Microsoft also stopped producing Xbox One S consoles. “To focus on production of Xbox Series X / S, we stopped production for all Xbox One consoles by the end of 2020,” Cindy Walker, senior director of Xbox console product marketing, told The Verge.
